why u think it's conflict between SEM and BW? SEM is the evolution application of BW, now many company just regard BW as an advanced report tool, they take little advantage of BW until they implement the SEM and other advanced application which based on the BW, eg. crm. So for a BWer, he'll become a SEMer sooner or later.
